How Does Anbesol Liquid Work?
Anbesol Liquid contains three active ingredients:

0.9% Lidocaine hydrochloride – Local anaesthetic for targeted pain relief

0.1% Chlorocresol – Antiseptic to prevent infection

0.02% Cetylpyridinium chloride – Antiseptic action for oral health

How to Use Anbesol Liquid

Ensure hands are clean before application
-
Use fingertip to apply liquid to the affected area
Dosing guidelines:

Adults: Apply 0.5ml, repeat after 3 hours if needed
-
Children (5 months+): Apply 0.25ml, max 6 doses per 24 hours, max 7 days per teething episode
Who Should NOT Use Anbesol Liquid?
Avoid use if:

Children under 5 months

Allergic to Lidocaine hydrochloride, Chlorocresol, or Cetylpyridinium chloride

Individuals with porphyria or open wounds in the mouth
