How Do Gaviscon Advance Mint Chewable Tablets Work?
These tablets contain two active ingredients that help suppress reflux:

Sodium alginate (500mg) – Forms a protective layer over stomach contents to prevent acid irritation

Potassium bicarbonate (100mg) – Neutralizes stomach acid to reduce discomfort
These ingredients stop excess stomach acid from irritating the food pipe and stomach lining.
Directions for Use

Take 1–2 tablets up to 4 times a day—after meals and at bedtime

Chew tablets thoroughly before swallowing

Do not take more than 8 tablets per day

If symptoms do not improve after 7 days, consult your GP
