What is a chesty cough?
A chesty cough happens when your body produces mucus (phlegm) to clear out irritants like dust or bacteria from your airways. The coughing helps move this excess phlegm from your chest.
How does Benylin Chesty Coughs work?
Benylin Chesty Coughs contains diphenhydramine, an antihistamine that reduces coughing and chest/nasal secretions. It also includes levomenthol, which clears nasal congestion and helps you breathe more freely.
How to use this cough medicine
Take two 5ml spoonfuls (10ml) four times a day.
Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
