Strefen Honey & Lemon Lozenges are a flavoured medication that provide you with effective and soothing relief from the discomfort of sore throats.

How Strefen Honey & Lemon - 16 Lozenges works
These lozenges contain flurbiprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which provides short-term relief from the symptoms of a sore throat.

Directions
Always take exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as directed by your doctor or Happy Pharmacy pharmacist. Place one lozenge in the mouth and allow it to dissolve slowly. You can take one every 3–6 hours. Do not exceed 5 lozenges in 24 hours. ⏱️

Side effects
Like all products, side effects may occur in some people. Common side effects include dizziness, headaches, throat irritation, mouth ulcers, warmth or tingling sensations, prickly or itchy skin, nausea and diarrhoea. If you notice any side effects, including those not listed in the leaflet, report them through the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Serious side effects
Seek emergency medical attention if you experience signs of a severe allergic reaction such as swelling of the face or throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties or loss of consciousness. 

Warnings
Do not take if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, or if you currently have or have had two or more episodes of stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, asthma, severe heart failure, kidney or liver failure. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist first if you have a history of asthma, allergies, tonsillitis, bacterial throat infections, heart, kidney or liver problems, stroke, infections, bowel disease or autoimmune conditions.

Using/taking other medicines
Speak to your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any of the following: low-dose aspirin, antihypertensives, cardiac glycosides, diuretics, anticoagulants, medications for gout, other NSAIDs or corticosteroids, mifepristone, quinolone antibiotics, immunosuppressants, phenytoin, methotrexate, lithium, SSRIs, oral antidiabetics or zidovudine.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Do not use this product during the last 3 months of pregnancy. If pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying for a baby, speak to your doctor or Happy Pharmacy pharmacist before taking this product. 

Age restrictions
Not suitable for children under 12 due to choking risk. 

Alcohol
Avoid drinking alcohol while taking these lozenges. 

Driving and operating machinery
May cause drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery if affected. 

Storage information
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
