Strepsils Honey & Lemon Lozenges provide fast and effective relief from sore throats and mouth infections. Their soothing honey and lemon formula helps to ease irritation, while their antiseptic properties target the cause of discomfort.
What Causes Throat and Mouth Infections?
Throat and mouth infections are often caused by:

Viral infections (cold, flu)

Bacteria from contaminated surfaces or food

Spreading through coughing, sneezing, or touching your mouth with unwashed hands
Symptoms of a Throat Infection:

Soreness or pain in the throat or mouth

How Do Strepsils Honey & Lemon Lozenges Work?
Each lozenge contains two antiseptic ingredients:

Amylmetacresol

2,4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol
These ingredients help kill bacteria, reducing pain and irritation. Slowly dissolving the lozenge allows the active ingredients to coat the throat, providing relief from dryness and discomfort.
How to Use Strepsils Lozenges

For short-term relief only—if symptoms persist beyond 3 days, consult your GP or pharmacist
Directions:

Remove one lozenge from the blister packaging

Place on the tongue and let it dissolve slowly—do not chew or swallow whole
Dosage:

Adults, elderly, and children over 6 years:

One lozenge every 2–3 hours

Maximum of 12 lozenges in 24 hours

Not suitable for children under 6 years old
When Should This Product NOT Be Used?
Do NOT use Strepsils Honey & Lemon Lozenges if you:

Are allergic to amylmetacresol, 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol, or any listed ingredients

Have hereditary intolerance to fructose, glucose-galactose, or sucrose-isomaltose
Seek advice before use if:
