What is Tadalafil?
Tadalafil 10mg and 20mg tablets are a prescription-only medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED).This is when a man cannot get, or keep a hard, erect penis suitable for sexual activity. It’s active ingredient is Tadalafil, which works by increasing blood flow to the penis to help achieve and maintain an erection. Tadalafil is typically taken about 30 minutes before sexual activity, and its effects can last for up to 36 hours (1.5 days). It requires sexual stimulation to be effective.Tadalafil will not help you if you do not have erectile dysfunction.
How does it work?
Tadalafil helps treat erectile dysfunction by boosting blood flow to the penis. When you're sexually aroused, your brain sends signals to the penis through nerves, instructing the muscles in the penile wall to relax. This relaxation allows blood to flow in and fill the open spaces.
The blood enters more quickly than it can leave through the veins, causing the veins to compress and trap the blood in the penis, resulting in an erection.
Tadalafil contains tadalafil, a PDE-5 inhibitor. This medication prevents the breakdown of a chemical that relaxes the smooth muscle in the penis, increasing blood flow and leading to longer-lasting erections.
Remember, sexual arousal is necessary for this treatment to work.
What is the difference between Tadalafil and Cialis Together?
Tadalafil and Cialis Together both contain the same active ingredient and dose, tadalafil 10mg, and work in the same way to treat erectile dysfunction. However, there are a few key differences:
Availability
- Cialis Together: Can be purchased over the counter without a prescription, making it more accessible for men experiencing erectile dysfunction.
- Tadalafil 10mg: is a prescription only medication which can be issued after an online consultation with the clinical team at Happy Pharmacy.
Dosage is the same in both
- Cialis Together: Tadalafil 10mg Tablet
- Tadalafil: Unbranded Tadalafil 10mg Tablet

FAQs
How should I take Tadalafill?
• One 10mg tablet as needed at least 30-minutes before sexual activity. You won't get an erection just by taking the pill; sexual stimulation is necessary for it to work. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water.
• Can be taken with or without food
• Avoid drinking grapefruit juice as this may increase the risk of side effects
• Drinking excessive alcohol can temporarily reduce patients’ ability to get an erection and increase the risk of postural hypotension, causing dizziness. To get the maximum benefit from their medicine, patients are advised not to drink large amounts of alcohol before sexual activity
When should I take Tadalafil?
• Should be taken at least 30 minutes before anticipated sexual activity
• Maximum recommended dose of one tablet a day
• Not recommended for continuous daily use – patients requiring frequent use (i.e. at least twice weekly) should see their doctor
What to do if Tadalafil does not work?
• Patients who are not able to achieve a sufficient erection for satisfactory sexual activity even after several attempts on different occasions should see their doctor
• Patients whose ED worsens after using Tadalafil should see their doctor
Can I take sildenafil with other medications?
You should inform your healthcare provider about all the medications you're currently taking. Sildenafil can interact with certain medications, especially nitrates used forchest pain, which can lead to a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
