Description
Anusol Plus HC Suppositories are designed to treat internal haemorrhoids and alleviate any discomfort associated with this condition.
Anusol Plus HC Suppositories help relieve itching and swelling in the affected area, offering effective and rapid relief.
How Anusol Plus HC Suppositories Work
Anusol Plus HC Suppositories contain a combination of ingredients that work together to treat haemorrhoids and provide relief from itching and swelling. They also help prevent bacterial growth in the affected area, protecting raw and sore skin.
These ingredients include:

Hydrocortisone acetate

Balsam of Peru

Benzyl benzoate
Directions
Always use Anusol Plus HC Suppositories exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as advised by your doctor or Happy Pharmacy pharmacist.
Gently wash and dry the affected area before use.
Wash your hands before and after using the product.
Remove 1 suppository from its plastic cover and insert it into your back passage. Ensure it is inserted far enough inside to prevent it from slipping out.
Insert 1 suppository at night, 1 first thing in the morning, and 1 after each bowel movement.
Do not use more than 3 suppositories a day, and do not use for longer than 7 consecutive days.
Side Effects
Like all medicines, Anusol Plus HC Suppositories may cause side effects in some individuals, although not everyone will experience them. There are no known common side effects associated with this product.

Serious Side Effects
Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, which may include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties, and/or loss of consciousness.
Warnings
Anusol Plus HC Suppositories may not be suitable for certain individuals. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of its ingredients or if you have fungal, viral, or bacterial skin sores.
If you experience rectal bleeding, blood in your stool, or are unsure if any bleeding is caused by haemorrhoids, speak to your doctor or our pharmacist before using this product.
Using/Taking Other Medicines
If you are currently taking, or have recently taken, any medication, including over-the-counter products, speak to your GP or pharmacist before using this product.
You must inform your healthcare provider if you are using corticosteroids, such as hydrocortisone.
Age Restrictions
This product is not suitable for individuals under the age of 18.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Do not use Anusol Plus HC Suppositories if you are pregnant. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, consult your doctor or Happy Pharmacy pharmacist before using any new medication.
Storage Information
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, which refers to the last day of the month indicated on the packaging. Do not dispose of medicines via wastewater or household waste.
